The Committee desire me to write and inform you that they will recommend Miss Marie Lee and Miss Elsie Schäfer as very suitable Candidates for the posts of Nursing Sisters in the Colony of Hong Kong.
The Committee have noted that Nurses are primarily required for service in the Victoria Hospital, and consider both Candidates suited for this work, especially Miss Schäfer, who, besides her work at the Louisa Hospital, has had good experience in Hospitals for Women and Children.
I am desired to mention that Miss Lee had to come from Liverpool to see Dr. Manson on the 3rd instant and that it was therefore arranged for her Certificate to be sent on that day. The medical Certificate is included with her papers.
